What is it about ?

The address book synchronizer is a plugin for Mozilla Mail or Thunderbird that allows any user to synchronize its address books with a remote webmail.

This plugin should be linked to a server-side plugin for Squirrelmail, a well-known webmail software. There may be server programs for other webmails such as Horde/IMP, you just need to adapt the sync.php script to your environnment.

The Mozilla/Thunderbird plugin is currently available in english and french. It adds a new account type in the "account wizard" and the "account settings" menu item.

The extended MySQL Addressbook plugin for Squirrelmail is also available in english and french. This plugin is required if you want to access your addressbook from the Webmail. The documentation may help you.
